Leo Adams is an English and French film composer based in London. As well as film Leo has also been commissioned to do music for events and art exhibitions. In 2024 he worked with fashion designer Brian De Carvalho on his show for the London fashion week. He has also previously worked on the music for art installations for the Courtauld Galley and for the Derry Halloween festival.
Leo has also worked on adverts for the illuminated river project as well as various short films with students from the London Film Academy, the MET film school, and the Maryland Institute College of Art.
Leo has an interest in both traditional orchestration and electronic Sound design. He is a skilled orchestrator and has experience working in both Sibelius and Logic Pro X, using different sample libraries to create convincing mock ups and demos. He is also interested in Synthesis and enjoys building synth patches as well as electronically manipulating acoustic recordings to create unique soundscapes.
Leo first found an interest in music at the age of 9 when he was a Chorister at Radley College in Oxford for 5 years. After finishing school he studied for a year at Abingdon and Whitney College to gain studio experience. In 2020 Leo was accepted at Guildhall school of music and Drama and is currently in his final year.
